Mortgage Operations Manager

SUMMARY

The Mortgage Production Operations Manager leads a high-functioning operations team of processors, underwriters, doc drawers and funders who process loans from application through closing, submits them to servicing and performs periodic post-closing audits, final loan documents and funds residential loans within scope of authority in accordance with company policy and secondary market guidelines. Oversees day-to-day workflow and personnel within the department. Performs supervisory duties of department staff, coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas of the department. Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

•High school diploma or equivalent, and eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of an audit background in financial institution operations, lending and financial reporting. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or technical industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.

•Advanced knowledge of mortgage lending requirements; related state and federal laws and regulations, and other Bank operational policies and procedures.
