Board of Directors

  • Patrick F. Patrick

    is a director of the bank, as well as President and Chief Executive Officer of the organization. Patrick joined Seattle Bank in September 2010, and was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the bank in November of 2010. He develops and leads the organization's vision and operating strategies. Patrick comes to Seattle Bank with over 48 years of banking experience, predominately in an executive leadership capacity. He has held prior Chief Executive Officer and board member positions with Prudential Bank, Mariner Bank, and Metropolitan Bank in Washington state, as well as Towne Bank in Arizona. Patrick has been involved in a number of community boards and civic organizations over his career and maintains a significant community involvement in the greater Puget Sound area.

  • J.D. Delafield

    Mr. Delafield is the chairman, president and CEO of Delafield Hambrecht, Inc. Previously, he co-founded WR Hambrecht + Co., an Internet and auction technology-driven investment bank, and held a number of positions including chief operation officer. Prior to WR Hambrecht +Co., Mr. Delafield worked at Morgan Stanley in investment banking in New York and Singapore and at The Coca-Cola Company in Beijing. Mr. Delafield is a former board member of The Henry Art Gallery, Cost-U-Less, Cardiac Science, WR Hambrecht and REM Medical. He currently serves as a board member of SleepHealth Centers, L1 Partners, and Epiphany School. Mr. Delafield holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

  • Stan Baty

    Mr. Baty joined the Board of Directors of the Bank in March 2011. Since November 1996, Mr. Baty has served as the Vice President of Columbia Pacific Management, Inc., where he is responsible for real estate related investment decisions. From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Stan Baty was a financial analyst for Nomura Securities Corporation. Mr. Baty is a graduate of the University of Washington.

  • Peter Kuttel

    Mr. Kuttel joined the board in 2011. In 1989 Mr. Kuttel co-founded Victor Seafoods, a privately owned seafood harvesting and processing company focusing on pollock, cod and crab resources in Alaska. He served as its President and CEO from 1991 until the business was sold in1999. In 2000 he co-founded and acted as majority investor in Bear & Wolf Salmon Company, a fish processing and marketing company focusing on the Alaskan salmon resource. In 2008 the company was acquired by Trident Seafoods. Mr. Kuttel was a stockholder, and served on the board of, Trident Seafoods until 2010. Mr. Kuttel also served on the board of the Prince William Sound Aquaculture Association from 2004 to 2007. He currently focuses on private equity investments for his family. Mr. Kuttel has a BA in Finance from the University Of San Diego.

  • Nick Eitel

    Mr. Eitel joined the board of directors in 2011. Mr. Eitel served as CEO of Everett Shipyard Inc., a Seattle-area privately owned commercial shipyard, from 1992 until its sale in 2008 to Todd Shipyards. In 2000, Mr. Eitel co-founded and served as a Director and CEO of Gear.com, until its merger with Overstock.com in 2001. Mr. Eitel also makes private equity investments on his own behalf. Notable pre-liquidity event investments include Coinstar , Amazon.com, Aquantive, Market Leader and Insitu. Mr. Eitel holds an MBA from the University of Washington and a BS from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

  • Robert Story, Senior (Chairman Emeritus)

    Robert "Bob" Story was the chairman of the board of Seattle Bank until 2011. He joined the company in December of 1955. He is currently a Board Member of the Northwest Parkinsons Foundation, has served on the Board of Trustees of the University of Washington Alumni Association and as their president, and currently heads the Washington Alumni Advocates.
