Seattle Bank Adds To Its Team

Seattle Bank is pleased to announce recent additions to its team. Brian Potter joins the Bank’s sales team as AVP/Associate Relationship Manager and will contribute to the Bank’s outreach efforts and growth goals. Diana Steiner and Kathy Hruza joined the Bank to support the acquisition of a large portfolio of reverse mortgage loans. Diana serves as the Bank’s SVP/Manager of Reverse Mortgage Operations and Kathy as VP/Manager, Reverse Mortgage Servicing Oversight.

As SVP/Manager of Reverse Mortgage Operations, Diana Steiner is responsible for managing the Bank’s reverse mortgage portfolio, including accounting and financial modeling. Diana is a CPA and has over 15 years’ experience in financial services in various audit and accounting roles. Diana most recently served as Vice President and Accounting Operations Division Controller at HomeStreet Bank, and prior to that was Seattle Bank’s controller from 2004 to 2010. Diana earned a degree in Accounting from Lubbock Christian University, and in 2010 embarked on a four-year journey aboard a 34-foot sailboat, ultimately covering 35,000 miles and visiting 30 countries.

Kathy Hruza has over 14 years’ experience in mortgage origination and servicing and is responsible for managing the Bank’s reverse mortgage servicing relationship. Kathy previously worked for Seattle Mortgage Company, a division of Seattle Bank, from 2004 to 2007, and most recently served in various roles for Bank of America’s Reverse Mortgage division from 2007 to 2018. Kathy earned degrees in Mathematics and Biology from Central Washington University.

Brian Potter has over 10 years’ experience in credit underwriting and relationship management. Prior to joining the Bank, Brian was Vice President and Credit Risk Officer at Community Bank in Anaheim, California. Brian also worked at Pacific Continental Bank and Foundation Bank in Bellevue. Brian earned a degree in Economics from Dartmouth College.
